Dad fly free now. The suffering is over. I take your hand in mine and hug you with all my heart. You who taught me about the real things in this life, the laughter, the beautiful stories before I went to sleep at night which were only for me – in these, our shared secrets you created for me magical places which will always be there. You taught me values of the heart and with so much love. You gave me the gift of love for all beings, people, animals, trees, birds. I find you there with me when I am in nature. This legacy lives on through your children and grandchildren and the many other people whose hearts you touched. What beauty you have left on the paths you trod in this world. I will miss you more than I can ever say, I am grieving now and my heart is overflowing with tears but I thank you in so many ways for the life you gave me. My soul shines because of you. You made it truly a wonderful world.
