It is lovely to read what is written here already. Mum (Joyce, Len's brother) loved Len a lot and they shared much in common - a love of nature and of literature. And there shared childhood, which wasn't always easy meant a lot to them. As Len's niece, I didn't see him much yet always felt a bond, because I knew how fond my mum was of him and his faith made me feel a connection as I too, and my sister Jane, also share that faith in Christ. I always enjoyed the time I did have with Len and appreciated his emails. His lovely broad smile is something he shared with Joyce and his half sister Evelyn too.
