Jane 8th August 2020

A poem for Len by his niece, Jane Sorry we couldn’t be with you In a country far away. One day we will meet again To rejoice and celebrate. You never knew your mother. At your birth she passed away. Now you are together Forever in one place. For so long she has been waiting To give you an embrace. Patiently anticipating The day she sees your face. The comfort that it brings us To picture you as one. Takes away the sting That from this earth you’ve gone. Our Father in heaven Says to you, “Well done, My good and faithful servant. Hello, and welcome home!” Jane Smith. (August 2020)
