Although I hadn’t seen Len for over twenty years, I remember the profound influence he had on my spiritual journey. As Peter so rightly says, I felt I could speak with him about my struggles, and rely on his total presence and wisdom. I remember the gap he left in my life when he left the community all those years ago. I am sure there are countless numbers of people who were touched by his presence, including the children he taught when he worked at the school in Walthamstow (where I first met him).
