Mr Akehurst class was always engaging. I was seriously quiet and somehow i was able to write. He had me read out my writing and applauded me. It was the first time I actually felt I had talent at school, at something.  I wanted to write for a long time and to one day come back and tell him I did it. I am however training to be a Mental health counselor here in America in USA.  But I recently talked with him on facebook and he said he wanted to meet me to catch up.  I had the temerity to post something with bad grammar which he corrected promptly.  I didn't like most of the teachers much at Cardinal wiseman, but Mr. Akehurst was special.
